“This event pre-dated Sea of Dreams by a year, but was the first time we coined the name EVE-OLUTION. New Years Eve is in fact an evolution of the soul and another revolution around the sun. A giant rite of passage party for all of humanity to cyclically celebrate an end & anew. Pop that bottle of bubbly!

Lost At Last was the headliner after they blew up what used to be the Center Stage @ Burning Man that summer. The 50 Oak St. venue was owned by the Catholic Church and was also a gym, so it had a beautiful swimming pool below. Thus, Sea of Dreams took on a literal connotation that year because you could swim in the new year in your birthday suit! This soiree also continued the anon tradition of mixing lingerie we ask friends to donate into the midnight balloon drops! All in the spirit of surreality”
