| For the past 3 years, the Elbo Room in the heart of the San Francisco�s Mission district, has been home to the weekly Afrolicious party. Led by the remix team of brothers Pleasuremaker & Se�or Oz, Afrolicious has established itself as a world-wide destination for passionate dancers, djs, bands and music lovers. The focus is on groove-oriented music from around the globe, and on the people and cultures from which it derives, which means tropical and electronic beats, live drummers and musicians and seductive dance floor action. |||| Sticking tight to the grooves, original Pleasuremaker material builds on layered explorations with live percussionists, dubbed out effects and live remixing of classic funk, disco, Afrobeat, Latin, electronic and poly-rhythmic grooves. It is through deep love of the music and its power to bring peoples together, that Afrolicious builds on the deep funk of the past and drives it forward into the future.
