TONIGHT is the big night. Already, thousands of you have purchased tickets and are traveling from as far away as Malaysia to be here to see Thievery, Bassnectar, Mutaytor and the rest. But you already BOUGHT a ticket, so you KNOW all that.
Here's some stuff we want to make sure you are aware of that will make your EXPERIENCE less stressful and more enjoyable. Please feel free to share this information with your friends who are coming and with those who have yet to purchase tickets.

These pages should cover most of your questions, but here are a few other basic issues we want to be sure to cover.
GET THERE EARLY: Much stress and anxiousness can be alleviated by just showing up early. We are doing our very best to foresee any contingency and have ample staffing at the box office, coat check and at our many bars, but you will be so much happier if you aren't running late and in a hurry. As the clock ticks toward midnight, bridge & highway traffic increases, parking grows more scarce etc. etc. etc. And we've created a wonderland environment that will be fun to explore earlier in the evening.
THE BOX OFFICE OPENS at 2PM - You can come to the venue and check tin at Will-Call and pick up your tickets prior to the DOORS OPENING AT 8PM
DRINK RESPONSIBLY: TAKE PUBLIC TRANSPORT HERE <http://seaofdreamsnye.com/faq> CARPOOL. BIKE. DESIGNATE a SOBER DRIVER. SFPD will have roadblocks EVERYwhere. Don't take a chance that could get you or someone you love hurt.
FOOD AT THE EVENT: We will have two major food vendors. Asia Restaurant will have Asian cuisine and BBC Catering will have burgers and sandwiches, etc. If you want a sit-down fancy shmancy, you should get it before you come. VIP's will have additional complimentary Thai Food in the VIP Lounges (while it lasts). Please make sure to eat before you come. YES, you can pack a bag lunch. No drinks, bottles or cans otherwise.
PACE YOURSELF AND STAY HYDRATED: We will have bottled water for $3 each. There are also water fountains at the venue (near the main bathrooms). YOU MAY BRING EMPTY WATER BOTTLES (Must be see-through)
MAKE US PROUD!: We all know the reputation of New Years Eve. "Amateur night", "Drunk Idiots" & "DUIs." We've all seen and heard this and yet, those of us who have spent a lot of time in the Bay Area know that it's NOT LIKE THAT IN THE BAY AREA! In fact, if the Bay Area is famous for anything, it's that all kinds of people come here and GET ALONG! We smile, shake hands and hug and introduce ourselves. We party responsibly and don't ass out. We keep our eyes open for friends and strangers who may need a helping hand. We're patient and try to make light of the little things we can't control. It's what makes this place so special and we expect all of you to hold yourselves to the highest ideals of good conduct, responsibility, and kindness. BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD.

> PLACES TO STAY: We are getting requests from out-of-towners asking about places to stay not too far from the Concourse. We are recommending the Hotel Whitcomb - located directly at the corner of Market and 8th St. Their rates are reasonable (150-200) plus the location offers a 6 block cab ride or walk to the venue. www.hotelwhitcomb.com

THIEVERY CORPORATION: Will be playing a 2 hour set!
THE DOLAB: Known worldwide for their massive art installations, seen first at Burning Man & Coachella, the Do LaB has worked to reinvent the summer festival with their spectacular Lightning in a Bottle Event. Sea of Dreams didn't exactly NEED more decor, what with anonEvents, Inflatable Arts and Hookahdome on the scene, but we certainly weren't going to turn down these wizards when they offered to come up. The Do LaB will be creating a "Gardens of Sound" in the Lobby space (something only seen at L.I.B. to date). They'll also be adding various eyecandy throughout other parts of the event.
SURYA DUB LIVE feat. MANEESH THE TWISTER & KUSH ARORA: In 2007, the Bay Guardian called Surya Dub, San Francisco's Best Party, and for good reason. An event that pulls together every aspect of live and produced, modern and classic dubwize culture, including dub, reggae, dubstep and south Asian, African, and Middle Eastern world music, drawing a multi-ethnic cross-section of San Francisco's conscious groovers. Maneesh was confirmed for Sea of Dreams some time ago, and we are pleased to announce that production partner (and rising star in his own right) Kush Arora will be performing with Maneesh for a closing set on the DJ stage that they call "SURYA DUB LIVE"
MANCUB (Space Cowboys) vs. SMOOVE (Newzbreaks): Perennial Nitevibe Dreamteamers, Smoove and Mancub both came up through the seminal SF underground breakbeat crew the Space Cowboys. In the past 10 years they have each garnered accolades aplenty for their extremely funky breakbeat stylings. This year Smoove was recognized as "Best DJ" by the SF Weekly, and Mancub toured extensively, so much in fact, that they rarely get to play together anymore. This New Years, the two will play an epic 3 hour set, early in the night on the DJ stage. Expect to see Mancub scratching in boxing gloves!
MOTION POTION & LUX VISUALS: For the past 6 years, Motion Potion has brought his eclectic brand of mashed up funk to the Bonnaroo Festival, performing with visual producer Alton "Lux" Parker. Parker, who holds down a regular gig with Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Blu Sirkut and the Crystal Bay Casino is among the most inventive live vj's on earth. This will be the first time he ahs performed live with MoPo anywhere outside of Tennessee. They will close the 2nd stage with a multimedia beatdown featuring dancers of all kinds.
